When we first got the package, we excitedly opened it and were thrilled to see the new iTap egg inside. We had seen it somewhere before and were curious to try it out.

The iTap is a self contained toy that turns on and changes speed with a light tap on the end. No wires to get in the way or buttons to fumble with. It has five speeds; steady low, steady high, low-low-high pulses, steady high pulses and alternating low-high pulses. One tap turns it on and each subsequent tap switches speeds. Tapping it just out of the box, we thought it was the neatest thing…until we put it to the test on our naughty parts.

You see, the iTap we got was the egg, which means that it is roughly the size of a real egg. So, when you tap it on the speed you want and try to get down and dirty, you inadvertently touch the end and the speed switches on you. In other words, to be able to hold it on your clit, your fingers come in contact with the end of the egg (it’s nearly impossible not to). It became irritatingly frustrating each time I found a speed that felt right, only to have it change or turn off on me…over and over again. If only it was longer and had a larger non-touch sensitive area to grip......

But wait, it does! California Exotics also carries an iTap Vibe and iTap “G” Vibe (both of which are 6” long). Now these might be models that do what the tap technology was designed for! But alas, these aren’t the ones I got to try, so I can’t really say for sure… for now.  ; )
